General questions
AWS Charges
The AWS on-demand scalability is accompanied by billing models that are fundamentally different from traditional hosting offerings. Instead of paying a fixed monthly fee for a server, cloud hosting instances are typically paid by actual usage or amount of data. Please check out our AWS Price Estimate site for further information.
Administration costs
Our prices start at 49, - EUR (net plus VAT) - please visit the details site of the hosting plan you are interested in (either a single server environment or a multi server environment) for a detailed overview of our prices. Tailor-made solutions that deviate from our hosting models are of course also possible.
Once the server landscape is set up, we will make a copy of your online store in the new environment and make the necessary configuration to adapt your shop as well as possible to the new conditions (from the security, availability and performance perspectives). Then the test phase begins, which ends only when you and we are completely satisfied with the result.
In the last phase, we upload a current copy of your database, change the DNS record to the new IP address, and switch to LIVE mode. Congratulations! You now leverage the powerful, flexible and scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and professional managed hosting from StorePace.
Amazon Web Services
The vertical scaling is done manually by us. If, on the basis of measured values in our monitoring system, we recognize that the current instance is no longer sufficient, we will change the instance type after consulting with you. A single server environment requires a reboot of the system.
Horizontal scaling works automatically within the parameters that were initially passed.

Support
Your systems are monitored 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In case of anomalies we react in, we respond in max. one hour to restore the availability of your infrastructure and analyze and fix the errors. Recurring administrative tasks such as operating system and security patches/updates or backups are carried out regularly by us.
